Sun Devils Classic 2025
This past November, Figure Skating Team at Arizona State University proudly hosted the Sun Devils Classic, marking the first intercollegiate figure skating competition of the season as well as a historic first for both our program and the state of Arizona. The event welcomed more than 19 collegiate teams and over 300 athletes to Mullett Arena, making it the first Intercolliegete Pacific Regional competition of the 2025–26 season. Hosting the Sun Devils Classic was an incredible honor for our program, as it allowed us to welcome Pacific Region schools to compete on home ice and showcase the growth of collegiate figure skating at ASU. We are deeply grateful to all the teams, athletes, coaches, and officials who made this inaugural event such a success, and we hope to host the competition again in the future. To learn more about the event, read the featured article by The State Press, which includes interviews with Erin Ambroz (President), Ryann Kruger (Vice President), and Head Coach Paige Vasquez.
